La Fromagerie specializes in American farmstead cheeses. We are proud of our collection of cheeses from the Mid-Atlantic region and work directly with farmers whenever possible. We also offer farm fresh dairy products from local dairies. Click here for a list of our cheeses. La Fromagerie features a handpicked selection of cured meats from Italian-style salami made in NYC to Iowa Heirloom Breed Prosciutto. We also have cook’s favorite like Guanciale

We carry hand crafted wines from small producers around the world as well as domestic and imported beers from microbreweries. Our affordably priced bottles are the perfect companions for our cheeses and meats.

Our cheese platters are ready to serve. They include five different cheeses arranged on one of our handcrafted cutting board (you get to keep the board!) with fruits, nuts and crackers.

Charcuterie boards are also available.

Perfect as an appetizer or to conclude dinner in style, they are a great addition to any menu and make unusual gifts.

Our unique cutting boards are handcrafted in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. They are made of reclaimed wood.

We also have an array of cheese and wine related items and books for a perfect gift.

Not sure what to choose? We have gift certificates in any denomination. We will happily mail them to you or your loved ones. You can also stop by the shop to get them.

Cheese Party and Wedding Cakes

Our “cheesecakes” are one of a kind! Your guests will enjoy various wheels of cheese stacked and decorated to resemble a classic tiered cake. The cake is later dissembled and cut for serving.

Our cheesecakes are savory alternatives to traditional dessert cakes, or can be an added course to any special meal. Order your own custom cheesecake for all your celebrations!
